Well folx...one of the MOST important things involved in playing Diablo is choosing the right weapon. For a rogue the obvious choice is the bow but after you climb in levels the other weapons can be fun to play around with...tho most are ineffective for the rogue. A good sword and shield is always a nice change from the plunking of the arrows but the rest of the weapons, like the larger axes, mails, etc just can't be used as effectively because of strength considerations. This page is for anyone to see what is available, how much it could cost, and what the attributes mean in something like a merciless bow of thunder. Most of the weapons found will not be just a plain old bow or sword or whatever...most will have either a prefix or suffix or both attached to the weapon giving it a distinct name. These -ixes are what makes a weapon either valuable to you or just plain valuable for sale. So check out what the basic costs are for a weapon and then read about what the -ixes will do to a weapon...and remember...any combination can and is possible...you wouldn't believe what I have found....hehe
Some things that will be helpful when perusing the lists...err...some definitions I guess. Durability is an att for how much damage an item can take, requirements are those that have to be met before the item is usable by your character, AC (armour class) is the number that measures how well protected our character is from harm, and the stats STR = strength, DEX = dexterity, & MAG = magic. Now go forth my child and see what can be learnt!!
These are a listing of all the basic attributes: durability of the weapon, requirements needed to use, armour class, damage, approx cost to buy, etc. All weapons and armour can be used on all the classes but as rogue you are limited to what you can carry and use...so this list will be of some use to newbie rogues who aren't sure what to keep and use. Just remember that a rogues maximum attributes without any rings, amulets, etc are STRENGTH - 55 | MAGIC - 70 | DEXTERITY - 250 ...so keep an eye out for items that are above those atts...most of the times it will be useless to hold onto any item above those cause you'll never reach higher than the atts without powerful rings, amulets, etc.

All items to be found are considered magical when they have a prefix name, suffix name, or both attached to that item. These items are worth much more in gold and to the characters that use them because of the extra attributes that are bestowed upon that item with the extra name attached. A Merciless Bow of Thunder is a far, far better bow than just your plain old Long War Bow because of the Merciless and Thunder -ixes attached to the bow. The Merciless brings damage up to a +151% to 175% on top of its normal attributes while the of Thunder brings lightning arrows with a +1 to +20 Lightning damage on top of the usual damage an arrow gives. With these two attributes you have a weapon that is deadly compared to a regular weapon that kills when plunked long enough. The key for any rogue, and character in general, is to find the weapon of choice that has the highest attributes possible for that weapon so you can effectively defend your life. Below are the List of all Prefixes and Suffixes that are available and the combinations are endless. Some -ixes aren't of any use, such as the Useless prefix which applies a -100% damage to the weapon. These are not worth more than a few gold pieces and should be dropped where you found them to save space in your inventory for items of actual use.
